Sure, Silver Sonic can be taken out very easily as long as you don't touch his quills and while he is in a ball form, and can be taken out pretty fast. The final boss, on the other hand, is hard. You can get hit by it's hands while they are still on the body. It's harder as Knuckles; his limited jump height makes it harder to hit the boss safely.
The worst part is that there are no rings. So if you're hit once, you have to do the entire thing over again (unless you're using savestates, or course).
Very difficult. Norfair has sections that drain you're health without Varia, and Maridia has water physics. Good luck getting to Ridley and Draygon, and back again.
Place 3: Super Mario 3d world: world crown level crown
This level was hard.
I need over 2 hours to do it without power-ups and with Mario.
But the level is easy with Peach or Rosalina.
Or if you use a Tanookie and a cat power-up.
Specialy the last part with the keys is crazy:
It let me think of the last galaxy in Super Mario galaxy 2.
But finaly not the hardest level.
Place 2: Supet Mario galaxy 2: last galaxy last star
I don't think, I must say somethink,
one live, a hard pacour.
I was so happy, if I see this:
GOAL!
Place 1: New Super Mario bros 2: 10th DLC, 3rd level
I only do it one time.
AFTER 1.5 YEARS!
The level isn't so hard, but you must beat 2 other EXTREME levels, befor you can try this level.
And the collect 100 coins challange is hardcore, my record are 86 coins.
To do it with the ''noob''-tanookie isn't hard, but do it normal!

He ain't needing the dubstep to kick your ass. This demon can kick your ass and force you to sue robtop a million dollars for the price of $2.49 for a simple game an average 8-year old could make.
HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA
Clubstep is totally the hardest level in Geometry Dash

Dark Palace Boss: Moldorm
Let's be serious, everyone that fight against him have some problems at hitting his tail. The First boss was easy, the second was even okay, but the third is a pain! Even worse if you didn't had enough heart containers, because when you die on his battle, you return for the dungeon entrance! I'm not sure if it's only with me, but I ever have a problem with him.
Link's Awakening was worse. It was the first boss, and if I recall correctly, you can only have up to 3 hearts at that point. (no, not heart containers).
If Mario Maker levels count I have a winner. Everything you're talking about right now is baby stuff compared to this: https://youtu.be/NFIEpZD3enk
I found out about this because I was looking into getting Mario Maker and now I want it alot more.
The same guy apparently made a SMW hack that's like 10 times harder than this but the video got taken down for copyrighted material.

yeah it was item abuse 3. I don't follow SMW hacking that much anymore, and yeah sHell is easy. either way U-Break is in an official Mario game technically so I'd consider that canon to some extent. There's a japanese dude working on a way harder level though. I believe it's called Val's shellspace and it beats out pretty much anything in Maker atm. Nothing will ever top IA3 for a long time.
Any specific Boshy stage that stands out more than the rest?
* * * *
I didn't think about this one earlier, but Quick Man's stage in Mega Man 2. The stage itself has instant death written all over it, and you may need to save the Time Stopper to beat Quick Man himself.
Another honorable mention goes to Hard Man's stage from Mega Man 3. Plenty of sharp pain, and Proto Man's battle area is not flat. However, Hard Man isn't hard to beat, although it's still hard to believe that his earthquake attack can stun you even when you're hard to reach in mid-air.
An honorable mention for honorable mention goes to Snake Man, Gemini Man, and Needle Man all at the same time. I have the most trouble with these three, and they're basically rock/paper/scissors while the other five have their own cycle.
