I sincerely hope that the neverending stop-go will eventually lead to stopping Brexit entirely.

Isn't that Brexit thing going on since years by now? And it never really happened yet, cause it kept failing over and over?
Not failing, just that nobody knows HOW to BREXIT.

Ooh, and I'm a remainer. I do not like BREXIT, but the vote went through, so let's do it already. It'll ruin the country, but we can't help that now.

ok but that's still quite the cynical attitude. Stay hopeful as long as there is a chance to stop or at least delay it.

Dude, this thing delays itself. The vote was in 2016!

Two and a half years to actually "prepare" the exit process. March 29th was a fixed date for quite some time previously. Now people (and some politicians?) start to realize how idiotic it is. Second referendum is really overdue, and "the vote went through" is not an argument, as democracy also contains the chance to fix mistakes

Also it's scorchingly hot like never in June! This picture shows the development of annual average temperature in Germany from 1881 to 2018:

- Over 10.000 people is eating from the trash
- The workers are winning just 3 dollars per month, money that is spent in just 1 day because of the hyperinflation
- People is dying of hunger
- Everything is becoming more and more dangerous
- There's tension due to the presidential elections this Sunday
- People is dying of diseases
- Families are saying goodbye everyday to these familiars who (of some way) managed to get out of the country in search of a better future
- We are lacking of products of first necessity that in other countries can be found everywhere (bread, soap, cleaners, light, water...)

Why I'm saying just these things?
because definitely nothing good happens here

Boris Johnson will be our prime minister soon, because appearently we needed a Donald Trump of our own (Jeremy Hunt has no chance, although he wouldn't be much better anyway).

Doesn't it say that the nation does not stand behind him and that some of his party colleagues could support a no-confidence vote?

Watch him get taken down by a no confidence vote within the first days of government

Seeing that graph posted by Cedur makes me even more worried about our future in terms of climate change.

On the subject, my country's far right president is doing an actual assault on the already weak environmental policy, resulting on a significant increase of deforestation. I am so glad to see that we are going into the right path! Of course we can also talk about austerity politics and the progressively worse human rights situation, but why be so pessimistic? After all we must be patriots!

In a late response to Teemster's distortive claims in this thread, there is now an official refutation to the ridiculous "climate always used to change at the same time" fallacy. Not only did it change to far minor extent, but it also didn't change everywhere at the same time, unlike now.
