Can it fit to 1.3? And also is Sqwaks there?
Had we finished this episode a couple years earlier the answer to this would’ve been yes, but with how things have changed for the project it has just been easier to work in 2.0 now. Especially with the addition of barrel cannons and a few other things to 2.0, I’m doubtful that 1.3 will be able to play the extended level files that most levels have been converted to.
Squawks I’ve had a difficult time with his dkc2 variant, but someone has made his dkc1 variant which is potentially being utilized in a level or two.

There was an 8 way tie for first for the screen so 1-4 was randomly picked from the bunch:
1-4 Limestone Passway
Addressing the stuff above, yeah Train-Car Trouble is from the Super Mario Bros: Revisited. I should've clarified it much earlier, so my apologies there. Always thought it was a fun idea for a level I haven't seen done again in other episodes I've played, so hopefully the train levels are all enjoyable to you guys in this episode.

This is looking good. Don't give up. I would love to see this finished. DKC was the best.

Wow! These screenshots look awesome! The original DKC was one of my favorite SNES games so I can't wait to play this!

Thank you both for the support! Progress has slowed a bit this summer, but we are still pushing through.

Just downloaded and tested them out for myself, and these are perfect. I definitely plan to use these in the near future with new levels, and I will eventually update old levels with them. Thanks for the heads up!

I'm not into discord but I will keep following along here. I like your progress but take your time. I would hate to see you get burn out.

I actually replayed it recently and it still holds up fairly well. Might add some of my own polish to it later on.

Alrighty so I didn't post a new screen in December, and I plan to take a break from forum updates. I will say a lot of ideas and current progress has been overhauled by even better ideas and more quality progress on the way.
With many talented people joining the team such as Koob, MegaDood, and Lusho in the graphics and lua departments these past couple of months, a lot of ideas and concepts I couldn't have fathomed be possible years ago when I first started this episode are now possible in addition to all the great work done by 2.0 staff as well.
But anyways when I see a good update is warranted for this ancient project I will certainly post here. As always feel free to check the discord for more active updates and to chill, and I thank you for sticking around.

Hey everyone, it's been a while. Here are two screenshots from 4-A, Carrot Platform Peril, a level I recently finished.
