Your most loved Mario Style

Postby bossedit8 » Fri Sep 12, 2014 7:32 am

I do like every Styles so to me there is no differences. Of course the more recent versions have more ability to them but for me it doesn't matter as I like everything.

A Mix tecnically isn't bad of how you use them correctly. Funnily enough that I did this on my very first SMBX Episode.

SMW had the best level design by far, but I disliked the visual appealing of the graphics. And it had by far the best gameplay. SMB2's "scrolling" was so shit that I dropped playing it. And meh, SMB3 had some really great and creative levels, but also an overwhelming amount of poorly designed levels. SMB1 is in the middle of them. It was really okay.

All good. I liked the graphic styles from all those games, even SMW.

SMB2 style is my favourite and YI style too, if that counts.

I personally love SMB3 and SMW, because of awesome graphics.

Yoshi's Island's graphical style is fan-freaking-tastic, it's so detailed and colorful and yet so simple at the same time.

SMB3 and SMW are also pretty great, they probably tie for second for me.

I like SMB1 and SMW, but my new coming style is by far the best!

Bump.

I like SMW. Not sure why. I just do. It's my favorite. 'Nuff said.

I've always been an SMB1 fan.
The SNES graphics for that game were amazing.
I really think there should be more praise and more love for that game.
Most people love SMB3, and think it's the best game in Super Mario All-Stars.
I know it is bland after a while, and people get sick of playing the same game all over again, but...
I think it's amazing.
What do you think about SMB1?

I like all of them. I feel SMB2 has a bit more charm, but in rest, I like everything.

Great classic that never loses its charm, no matter how many times you play it. Most people just play the 8 levels required to get to Bowser, instead of the whole 32 package. You know which levels they are.

I don't know exactly which level is that, but I think it's the one where you need to fly with a projectile in order to beat it.
If it's that, then that was a poor excuse for a level. That should have been a secret 1-up.

I'm more of a SMB3/SMW guy myself, they seem to have very distinct styles.
