Mushroom Cold Storage, Inc.

They're not that bad, but they're not that good either.

Not bad. You made a good use of vanilla blocks and npcs. I like how you use the npc pipe, because is a less used NPC.

I only think that you don't need put SMB1 cave blocks to be ice. SMB3 normal block are better in my opinion. And try not make these power ups like Hammer Bro. Suit a little hard to pick, because is a little overpower (or not).

Well, for me, this level is okay for a vanilla level. Good job!

Thanks! The Hammer at the end I even feel is gratuitous, but the scarcity of the powerup always frustrated me playing SMB3. I feel it needs background stuff, but yeah, its a vanilla level so nothing fit to me.

First off let me just give you a word of warning that I absolutely despise snow levels.

This level was really quick to play through, although I don't think I went through the whole thing, I'm not sure if that would have impacted the score much or not. The graphics, being all vanilla, didn't work out too well in my opinion, since the SMB1 and SMB3 graphics don't really mix that well. There was also a considerable lack of background objects, I felt the level needed some more.

There was no real gimmick to the level, the slippery physics are really annoying to me and I had to spin jump through most of this level. There was also a lack of enemies it seemed, as the only time I lost a power-up was that one Goomba just before you entered the factory. I couldn't stomp him because the ceiling was too low to effectively jump over it, which caused me to collide with him. The rest of the level I just breezed through no problem.

It was completely linear, even though I thought there were some other places I could go, I still beat the level in under two minutes or so, which is pretty short. It presented no real challenge and there were a considerable lack of enemies. It's hard to make a decent level using no custom anythings, sorry to say, but it felt really empty and too linear.

3/10

Dont be sorry, its all good. Ive realized that this belongs in the casual section, anyway. Ive also noticed that most good levels are like 6-7 minutes long. Everything Ive made thus far is in the vein of the SMB3 length. I wanted backgrounds, but this is before I learned how to use custom background. Im completely re working all of my levels in my episode. I appreciate your input.
