How to make episodes intros?

Is there any possible way to make an Intro?
In my episode i'd like to make an intro-level and, if you die there, you will be teleported to the HUB level (Yes, i don't want to use worldmaps)
I tried a lot of things but i can't do it
I either get that you don't spawn in the intro level in the first place, or that you ALWAYS play the intro when if you die.

(If my english is uncomprensible it's because I'm italian)

When the intro finishes, put a warp which warps the player to the HUB. Then, force the player to get a SMW star. Lastly, make a event where an instant warp is shown. The instant warpìs entrance should be at the start point of the intro and his exit should be at the start of the HUB. Select the SMW star and in the NPC events, under "Death", put the event I described before.

I have a slightly better idea: make the intro level part of the HUB, then follow Christian07's advice; that way, the player won't have to sit through an extra loading screen since the intro and HUB are part of the same level. Maybe that's what Christian07 meant, but he didn't say anything about combining the levels.

Still i can't merge the levels together, because the intro has player controls.
But still this was very useful. Thanks ^.^

To give the player his controls, you can set that when you get the SMW star, the event attached at its death doesn't have any automatic controls.
