Gravity and falling with LunaDLL (space levels)

Postby FanofSMBX » Mon Oct 06, 2014 10:49 am

Here's how to make a space level with LunaDLL. I forget who posted the address for these but thanks anyways.

For one section of spacewalking use "#x" above this or #0 for all sections. I've included my preferred settings.

Falling (12 is max and smbx default, lower numbers are less weight)
MemAssign,0x00B2C6F4,2,0,0,0,w

Jumping (20 is smbx default, higher numbers are more jumping)
MemAssign,0x00B2C6DC,45,0,0,0,w

I just want to remark that the gravity only affects the player and that 12 is the possible maximum. You have to try it out anyway.

We should really have a stickied topic with the Codes we know and have so far bc i don't like how you have to search all the pages to find the codes you need.

This code (for me) affected other levels, not just the one that had the code.

^^
You have to reset those codes as soon as the level is completed Phazon1111.

The values that set it back to normal are 20 for the first one and 22 for second. I think there's some code that triggers when you are in an exit (so I may be able to set it back to normal once you are winning the level) but I will need to look into this. The lucky thing is my episode had a filter level anyways for a player character before the low gravity level so I can use that to set the gravity back to normal.

The easiest thing to do would be to turn them back to 20 and 22 in every level's lunadll.txt (use #0).

Dude!

Nice GFX PACK.

I made a Spring Flower too.
But it is unaffected by Gravity.
Cuz if you really wanted to make it stay in the air with gravity theplayer would use captainn code.
Using cheats prevents from saving!

DAT LUIGI FAN: just use an NPC code "nogravity=1" to make them unaffected by gravity.
As for the cheat codes, always use (HELLO, THIS IS DARKMATT, DO NOT TRY TO BYPASS THE CHEAT DETECTOR. THANK YOU.) to save your game after cheating!

EDIT: DarkMatt stop editing my posts ImageImage
No.
