I read it somewhere. It would fix some bugs and add a beter block-filling system.

Well, there is PGE/PlatGEnWohl , a really good SMBX alternative that many people started using by now

The problem is with your poll is that we don't know what you really mean by the "new SMBX compatible editor". It probably does mean PGW, which is what I think, but then there are other SMBX clones like VSMBX and some random editor that works better than SMBX. Do you mean PGW, VSMBX or some other clone?

Well, overall it is your choice but for a savety matter, please stay your old SMBX Level Editor inside your Database in case while the newer ones are still on the Beta-Stages. In the future though, it maybe will be but it is also never sure what is gonna happen.

why? platgenwohl fully works with lvl files. Waddle Derp, it's your choice. in any case better platgenwohl

You should use both level editors. PGW is good, but you can't test levels with it.

PGE + SMBX = yes

Edit the levels in PGE and playtest them in SMBX for best usage.
