Also, the final iteration of A Train Ride to Nowhere is here!
M# - A Train Ride to Nowhere
This game has a slightly different ruleset from normal Mafia. The premise is that every player is on a train, and the Mafia has infiltrated the train. The train automatically arrives at the start of any given phase (in this case, the end of Day 8). When this phase is reached, the game ends.
20 Players - Cardflip
Role Usage is Optional
Assassin - Carries out the Mafia's dirty deeds each night.

Mafioso - Each night, they decide on who to kill as a group.
Mafioso - Each night, they decide on who to kill as a group.
Night Guard - Can kill one person each night. If he kills somebody who is aligned with the town, he turns into a normal passenger, meaning he loses his ability and turns green.
Conductor - The boss of the train. He can choose to "stop" the train twice. Each time he stops the train, all players will be notified that the train has stopped moving. This delays the end of the game by ONE phase.
Detective - Can inspect one person each night to learn their color.
Doctor - Can save one person each night if they were killed.

Passenger - No special abilities.
Passenger - No special abilities.
Passenger - No special abilities.
Passenger - No special abilities.
Passenger - No special abilities.
Passenger - No special abilities.
Miller - Thinks he's a normal Passenger.
Millwright - Thinks he's a normal Passenger.

Sleepwalker - All nightkills on him backfire.
Sleepwalker - All nightkills on him backfire.

Hobo - It is their goal to prolong the game until the train arrives at its destination. Is a third party. They know who the other hobos are.
Hobo - It is their goal to prolong the game until the train arrives at its destination. Is a third party. They know who the other hobos are.
Hobo - It is their goal to prolong the game until the train arrives at its destination. Is a third party. They know who the other hobos are.
Rules:
The Mafia wins if the Mafia makes up more than 1/2 of the remaining players.
The Town wins if all the Mafia and one hobo are dead.
The Hobos win if they all survive until the train arrives. If the train arrives and only one hobo is left, the passengers win.
The game automatically ends (arrival) at the end of Day 8 unless prolonged by the Conductor.
When the train arrives, if 2 or more of the hobos are alive, the hobos win. However, if only one hobo remains, the passengers win.

This game's actually good for raising your rank. Not that it matters anyways

Even without Mafia I'd still be one of the highest-posting users here

M# - Masters of Mystery
Capacity - 15
Cardflip
Semi-Mystery Game
This game would change around the Mystery Game mechanic to better suit creative players. Each player will receive a Role PM as usual, but the Role PM will have a variety of options if the player is chosen as a special role. There is a set number of Mafia, a set number of town, and a set number of third parties, but the player will be able to anonymously choose their role out of a set of possible choices.
Therefore, here are the possible Role PMs:
x1 wrote:You are in the Mafia. You can choose to be either a Godfather or an Artistic Mafioso.
Godfather - A normal Mafioso who cardflips green.
Artistic Mafioso - Can choose to paint one person each night. That person will retain that color for the rest of the game.
Your fellow Mafiosos are:
x2 wrote:You are in the Mafia. You can choose to be either a Consort, a Janitor, or a Propagandist.
Consort - Can choose one person each night. If that person tries to perform an action it will fail.
Janitor - Can choose one person each night. That person will have all colors removed.
Propagandist - Can choose a message for the host to display at the start of the following say. Can not fake death messages, but can fake anything else.
Your fellow Mafiosos are:
x4 wrote:You are in the Town. You can choose to be either a Sheriff, a Doctor, a Doublevoter, or a Townsperson.
Sheriff - Can inspect one person each night to learn their color.
Doctor - Can save one person from dying each night.
Doublevoter - Lynch votes count for two.
x5 wrote:You are in the Town. You can choose to be either a Townsperson, a Miller, a Millard, or a Millwright.
Townsperson - No special abilities.
Miller - No special abilities.
Millard - No special abilities.
Millwright - No special abilities.
x3 wrote:You are a Third Party. You can choose to be either a Serial Killer, a Jester, or an Immigrant.
Serial Killer - Kills one person each night.
Jester - If he gets lynched, all other third parties gain contact with each other.
Immigrant - No special abilities.
Your fellow Third Parties are:
Win Conditions:
-The Mafia wins if all third parties and at least half the town are dead.
-The Town wins if the Mafia and all third parties are dead.
-The third parties win if they are the last players remaining.

So, I came up with this game concept. I'm not submitting it for M8, but I probably will for M9.
————
MWhatever - Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny
Cardflip - 20 players
The Mafia
Godfather: Mafia, cardflips green.
Consort: Can distract one player each night and prevent that player's ability from working.
Mafia
Mafia
Each night, the mafia as a whole conspires to kill one player. Leadership (i.e. who ultimately PMs the Game Master with the target) is passed from the top of the list down. All members also have contact with each other.
The Police
Sheriff: Can learn the color of one player each night.
Detective: Automatically learns the method by which players died each morning. Each killing role, including the mafia and police, will always kill players in the same way and yield the same message.
Police
Police
Each night, the police as a whole conspire to kill one player. Leadership (i.e. who ultimately PMs the Game Master with the target) is passed from the top of the list down. All members also have contact with each other.
The Civilians
Doctor: Can protect one player each night. Can only protect him/herself once.
Private Eye: Automatically learns the method by which players died each morning. Each killing role, including the mafia and police, will always kill players in the same way and yield the same message.
Double Voter: Lynch vote counts for two.
Vigilante: Can kill one player each night. Has a slightly different alignment from the other townspeople, described below.
Townsperson
Townsperson
Townsperson
Townsperson
Townsperson
Miller: Townsperson, cardflips red.
Millwrong: Townsperson, cardflips purple.
Serial Killer
Serial Killer: Can kill one player each night. Can also protect himself from being killed similarly to the Doctor once.
-The Mafia's goal is to kill all Police and the Serial Killer, or to have an equal number of non-mafia players as there are mafia players (this is much less likely). They are allied with no one else.
-The Police's goal is to kill all Mafia members, as well as the Serial Killer and Vigilante. They are allied with the Civilians, except for the Vigilante.
-The Civilians' goal is to survive with the Mafia and Serial Killer dead. They are allied with the Police and include the Vigilante. However, if the Mafia and Serial Killer are dead, but both the Police and Vigilante are still alive, the game will not end, so it may be in the rest of the Civilians' interest to off one or the other.
-The Vigilante is a Civilian, but is opposed to the Police.
-The Serial Killer's goal is to be the last player standing.
-The game ends if one group has defeated all of their opponents, townspeople excluded for the Mafia.
-Power usage is optional.
-Insta-lynches can happen.

New Mafia Concept:
M#: Food Chain
This mafia game takes place on a farm, and everyone (except one person) is an animal. Recently the farm has been attacked by wild animals. These are no ordinary wild animals, however. These wild animals are unnaturally intelligent, and are masters of disguise. The farm animals will have to figure out who isn't who they seem before they all get attacked and eaten. Oh yea, and the farmer dude needs some friggin money, so don't let his livestock die or else he'll become one of those hobo dudes.
Gameplay:
This game has 20 players.
This is a cardflip game. Players' colors will be revealed upon inspection or death.
This is a ballot-box game. Players will privately submit their lynch votes to the host.
This is a Towns Syndrome game. Players do not know the roles or colors of other players, unless stated otherwise.
Roles:
Wild Animals:
Wolf (X2): Disguised wild animal. Decides who to eat each night and knows who the other wild animals are.
Fox: Disguised wild animal. Decides who to eat each night and knows who the other wild animals are.
Coyote: Disguised wild animal. Decides who to eat each night and knows who the other wild animals are.
Winning Conditions: Most of the farm animals need to be eaten.
Farm Animals:
Dog: Can "sniff" out the scent of suspicious players and learn their color, like a Sheriff.
Cat: Can defend itself for one Night.
Cow (X2): Farm animal with no special abilities.
Pig(X2): Farm animal with no special abilities.
Chicken (X2): Farm animal with no special abilities.
Sheep (X2): Farm animal with no special abilities.
Goat (X2): Farm animal that cardflips a random color. The goat is unaware of his color, and has no other special abilities.
Winning Conditions: All wild animals need to be dead.
Humans:
Farmer: Immune to lynches, knows who other humans are, as well as the cat and dog.
Farmer's Wife: Immune to lynches, knows who other humans are, as well as the cat and dog. Is an expert on animals and can inspect them for their color.
Farmer's Son: Immune to lynches. Carries a bee-bee gun and can choose to shoot and kill an animal at Night. If he kills a farm animal, he gets his bee-bee gun taken away for one Night.
Farmer's Daughter: Immune to lynches. Is a veterinarian, and can choose to protect an animal at night, with one catch: If the animal is to be eaten that night, the Daughter will be...*glup*...instead.
Winning Conditions: All wild animals need to be dead, but lose of all of the farm animals die. If the farm animals win, the humans win too.
Special occurrences:
Albino Animals: There is a 10% chance that an animal will be albino, and they will not cardflip a color. Does not apply to humans or goats. Players that are albino will be aware that they are albino.
Oldness: There is a 10% chance that the Farmer, Farmer's Wife, and or an animal will be old, and will die after 3 days and 3 nights. Players that are old will not know they are old.
Baby Animals: There is a 1% chance that a farm animal will be a baby. Baby animals' roles are revealed to the wild animals at the start of the game.
Other Notes:
Inactivity will result in Phantoms.
Ability usage is optional, but you must PM the host that you are doing so so that you don't accumulate Phantoms.
I have literally no idea why I came up with this idea.

There's hardly any point to even having colors in your game honestly. They're all so random.

I can't believe I died again first day for the same reason as always. This is NOT fun anymore. Like give me a break for once. You are just making me hate the game more and more every time I play.

Maybe think about why that happens.
Hint: It's not because of the town. You'd expect from a GM that he's able not to get himself lynched D1.
So stop trying to rig the game, stop trusting TP, stop making teams just because you know yourself and then claim your role. Also raging and pulling a Gohan if getting lynched isn't cool.
I mean, have you seen all the jokes made of you and KoolKat? (More you though, KoolKat didn't play too bad, the trick with the flawed technique for not getting voodoo'd was pretty nifty). Just listeb to the people and think about why that happens instead of raging.
Inb4 downreps for stating my honest opinion

tbh I feel like if you were slightly less argumentative and talked less on the thread it wouldn't happen
(just my opinion)

True lol
Not to mention doing a bunch of shady things.
Sorry, Blue, you're cool and all, but there is a reason why you always get lynched first. You draw SO MUCH attention to yourself, along with doing a bunch of suspicious things behind the town's back. If you would just work with the town, rather than doing a bunch of shady things on your own, you would see a better outcome.

I'd prefer if some people stopped using the term "pulling a Gohan" in Mafia. You're basically making a joke out of my friend, and he doesn't deserve it any more than the next person.

I can see why you dislike it and will stop, problem is, there isn't another apprropiate name for it (and pulling a Blue Bomber would already mean rigging the game).

Here's an idea:
Let's rename "pulling a Gohan" to "being over dramatic and hypocritical"
And rename "pulling a Blue Bomber" to "rigging the f*cking game"

I do not think this place is used for submitting magia games anymore, correct me if i am wrong.
The blue bomber thing, i do not know how he changes the game by rigging it, and their are many things wrong with have a secret chat to reveal roles, i was in one but i quit it when they kept asking me the same question and lied about my role. Still to the point, if you got lynched or killed at the beginning of the game just be ok with it, it will get better, it is just a GAME!

Everyone please drop the lie of me rigging the game. It's old, and it's getting stale fast. Go do something better than cause me to lose and rage.

go do something better than trying to have dumb alliances that don't even work against the game

I'm not using it to submit the game, I'm using it to gain popular opinion on what game people want to play.
