Rage_quitter_98 wrote:Those Forest Tilesets... man you're officially on my respect list. those GFX are sweet man. also i voted for SMW cause i feel like theres already more SMB3 content than SMW.
Thank you very much for this :-D.
Yes, having more stuff for SMW would be nice, and for the nostalgia-factor, it would be especially fun to do.
CaptainSyrup wrote:Damn that stuff looks awesome as hell.
Shame most people voted for smb3 i would rather have smw first since i really like smw and smb3 well is kinda overused in smbx.
Thank you a lot ^^.
SMW seems to be not wanted so much, but I guess you are right about it. But there is still much time left, so there could be a change maybe.
Goomba98 wrote:I want to see if you can make some graphics based on these unused tiles from SMAS:

I could do that, but I think it is not as useful. The cloud I already did, but I shaded it by myself, as I didn't know of the existence of this GFX ^^.
About the other stuff:
The tile to the upper right looks very similar to the underwater sand-tile for me, just with 8x8 style.
The tile below that, is already made my me, but in a different version. I labelled it as "Classic Dungeon" in the pack.
The shading of the tile to the far left looks not so nice, in my opinion, so I made it different and also more variations in my pack. Look into "General Blocks" for it.
The tile to the right of that, is just a BGO of the old NES-version of the castle-BGOs, but I could do a new version for the next update :-).
The water and lava-tiles are looking interesting, and I could try to make an animated version of it.
The King Kuppa bridge-tile to the right of them, could be a nice thing too. I guess I will add a redesigned version of it then.
The small 16x8 BGO is just a cutoff version of the fence-BGO, but with a different recolor. So I don't think it is needed for the pack.
The small hill-BGO could be useful, but in this state it is just a cutoff from a background-hill from the well known grassy hills-background. I could try to restyle it a bit ^^.
icemario12 wrote:Nice update! You always surprise us with great made graphics. I'd like to see a bit more SMW expanded tilesets from you (and maybe SML2 tilesets too <3).
Thank you. Its nice to read this :-). About SMW, let's see what the poll shows off.
Veudekato wrote:woah, PlatGEnWohl toolbox pack. Thanks!
No problem. It was really fun for me to do :-P. Finally no SMBX-tab madness anymore.
Thank you. It worked now. I will check your things out then :-).
Rage_quitter_98 wrote:doomoocv wrote:Same here,dude!
MOAR SMW ._.
(To make this post useful, what kind of SMW GFX would you like
to see,Rage Quitter?)
Man, idk. im not that good with ideas, but i sure he would know what to make. however more people vote for SMB3 :/ maybe he does both that would be awesome.
There are a lot of ideas in my head, yes :-). I will do both games, but the one that gets less votes, will take probably a lot longer to be worked on. At least half a year.
This is looking very nice. I like the underground tileset and King Kuppa the most ^^.
I would add shading under the grass at the overground-tileset, and some boarder tiles to the dungeon-tileset, though.
DarkMatt wrote:Could I request you do SMB1 underground world tiles? Only thing missing from this that'll get me to use it.
Yes, I can do them, but there will be no scenery for it then (but I can make some tiles as scenery), since there is no scenery left, in the worldmap editor.
Also Avarice made a version. Maybe you like to use his version too ^^.
castlewars wrote:You should go for SMB3 next. It'll be easier than doing the other expanded tileset styles and SMB3 is used a lot anyway, so you won't really need to change much to make the expansions. Also, don't forget to include an SMB1 palette in the pack, and when the SMB3 pack comes out, include an SMB3 palette.
I think it will be easier, to expand the SMW tilesets first, as the patterns of the fill is very basic and simple, as are the boarder tiles, but I just have as many ideas for SMB3 ^^.
About the pallettes, I will do a "Pallette-pack" for that purpose, when I come to the point, where I can do all this pallettes.
superhammerbros100 wrote:Oh man, Why SMB3 was more voted in the poll? We already have an SMB3 expanded pack. I'll prefer SMW
Hmm...maybe you could get your friends to sign up an account, and let them vote all for SMW...just kidding xD. Let's see, how the poll will end. There is still much time left for a change ;-).
Little Boo wrote:superhammerbros100 wrote:Oh man, Why SMB3 was more voted in the poll? We already have an SMB3 expanded pack. I'll prefer SMW
excuse me, but what? Where is that pack? I sure never saw it, and i happen to need some stuff in smb3 that isn't there in the base smbx game.
Valtteri wrote:Sednaiur released a pack of extended tilesets that included some tilesets from SMB3 and SMW on Knux's forum, and also a SMB3 map graphics pack. But Knux's forum was deleted.
Yes, I made a SMB3 wood-expansion, a SMB3 airship-expansion, a SMB3 underwater-expansion, and a SMB3 desert and sandstone-expansion back then. But I really need to rework them a bit, I guess ^^.
goombaguy wrote:Wow. Awesome tree.
Thank you :-).
Yes, it was very fun to do this trees, as I always liked the idea of SMW-trees, where the inspiration of this is coming from. Natsu made a suggestion for the forest-tileset, in the screenshot-threat.
Goomba98 wrote:Also, there should be a set of OW GFX based on Super Mario Bros. Deluxe.
I think I can look up for that. But not promised :-).

must have now!!!
once again my friend, you are too fucking awesome!
xD that is a crazy reaction for sure xD (for some reason, the thing on that image reminds me onto those strange cycloptic aliens from "The Simpsons").
Thank you ^^.
Thanks a lot for all the comments and suggestions. Let's see, what the people want more and vote in the next time then ^^.
