IMO smbx is easy to use, so that's why someone is wasting a few hours for joke level.
A few hours?!? more like two minutes and call it some stupid name and say its "the best thing they ever made" and hope they get upreps for some "awesome"...
A good level is something you put effort into to make it at least tolerable to play not NPC spam or "Run-time error 9" Its very vindictive to make a joke level of someone elses hard work just because you "hate" them or you lost to them. It kills me so much that no one cares about anything anymore these days.

You'll see maybe one day when this happens with this nonsense.

Joke levels are a thing here. They makes the world laugh even when drama is happening in the forum. There are also users (like deadfish) who really likes making them. Also, some joke levels even got a really good placement in some contest.

Last thing, one time in this forum there was another judging system which prevent joke levels to go in the levels forum.

Then the judges will biasedly give it Tier 1.
Unfortunately.

Honestly, levels that have some humor in them when the rest is serious and you see the designer did put effort into it and actually aimed to be placed high shouldn't be called joke levels. With the term "joke level" we should refer to levels that are actually jokes, meaning they are nothing more than a joke.

Who does have fun playing joke levels? I know joke levels are supposed to be "funny", but no joke levels made up to this point was funny, they were bullshit that everybody gets angered at because it makes no sense at all. And by no sense at all I mean it in a bad way.

There have been good joke levels.
Example: Chip Skylark's Teeth Aren't Shiny As They Are Wooden and Covered in Oil by ElTipsa

There's a difference between a joke level and a level that has jokes in it or has a gimmick or graphic used in a satire form. A couple of the better examples would be Wind's Valtteri's Fortstress levels and Eltipsta's Valtteri's Bladder. They were all around good levels, but they were largely based on a gimmick that uses satire.

A JOKE LEVEL is, well, we know what the average joke level is. Best examples would include Blocks Bollocks and most of the levels deadfish submit.

That's true actually.
Although the line is so fine that it really doesn't make a difference IMO. Joke levels should be judged as joke levels.
Cheezburger Hillz (my lolcat joke level) isn't really either type you described.

The line is as big as the line of a shit and a masterpiece level. Unless you are incapable of seeing the difference between Cool Hill's and Valtteri's Fortstress 2, I have no idea how you can think the difference isn't really significant. Don't put humorous levels in the same bag as actual joke levels, because the levels with some jokes don't take less effort than a regular level.

I meant that not all joke levels are categorized in complete crap or masterpiece. I just worded it wrong.

I actually submitted that because I was lazy and didn't want to make a good level for a contest. I was also really into TAoK at the time.

That reason is exactly why I stopped even playing the CCs at all. Why enter a contest if you had no intention on being a real contestant?

Well, I did want to make people laugh though.

When has anyone really laughed at a joke level? The last time I "laughed" at a joke level was way back when Credit Card Adventure was made. Now, its people making sad excuses for a level with the even sadder excuse of making someone laugh at it!

It's all a matter of opinion.
I laughed at quite a few joke levels recently.
