Rocky mountain peak

They're not that bad, but they're not that good either.

A little level I made that took around a day and a half to make. I hope you enjoy it.

People tend to look down on that if you didn't know

This level reminds me of Pipe Canyon by SMB which is in Yoshi's island x, same tileset, BG, clouds, everything

Here's my review: (even though I'm not a judge)

The level looked pretty nice, and it actually made me feel like I was playing a mountain/cave level. It was a clever to make it so the player has to climb the mountain and get to the top (or rather the pipe at the top to access the cave portion). The boss was pretty interesting too since you had to beat him before the floor blew up. However, the difficulty level was kaizo, not to mention the npc spam in multiple areas and the graphics clash in the cave section. There were plenty of tricky jumps too.

Design: 5/10
The level had plenty of flaws such as the spring action precision jumping while avoiding a lakitu dropping piranha plants.

The climbing section was also kind of misleading because when I played your level, I tried to climb to the top of the screen and then I hit the top and then I died from the obstacles falling. Also this looked kinda strange to me:

The overlapping pipe also looked kinda strange:

NPC Placement: 2/10
Some NPCs were placed in clever areas; however, most of the level consisted of NPC spam:

Atmosphere: 7/10
This level did indeed feel like a mountain/cave level due to the climbing aspect of it. My only issues are the NSMB bg and SMW custom tileset in the cave section, and certain sections of the level were kind of flat.

Music: 5/10
The music choice was awesome and it really fit the theme, the reason why I give it a 5 though is because the custom music didn't seem to work while I was playing the level, so basically the only time I heard music was at the boss fight. (I did listen to the .mp3 files though)

Overall score: 4.75/10 Level needs a lot of work. just fix the the things that I mentioned and your level will be fine :) (Not official since I am not a judge)

@Superiorstar: Better do not Quote a Post that has a lot of content in it. Make sure you either make a spoiler in it (unless there are multiple spoilers in it, that way it won't work perfectly) or just use a Name at the beginning so someone knows that that message is directed to a Member.

@PROX: Your review seems solid enough but your final score is too low in my opinion. After I calculated through your scoring value, it should be at 4.75 at the final result. Next time, try to count all scores you placed out and divide by how many categories you placed out, like for example you have two categories of scores but one of them has 8 but the others 5: 8 + 5 / 2 = 6.5 So what I did with yours was: 5 + 2 + 7 + 5 / 4 = 4.75 Just a suggestion for the future to prevent this issue to happen.

yeah I fixed my mistake already lol as soon as I saw that score I thought it was pretty low, then I realized that I did everything in reverse xD

In this attachment you can find the death effect of the smb3 styled beach koopas, which are missing.
And the level is pretty good, I love the music, and specially the mouser fight :)
But, in the underground section, that piranha plant generetor is too fast... i would slow down it a bit...
