The first thing I can notice from the screens is that there is a lack of BGOs. Second, there are some cutoffs with the vines, some blocks, etc. Also, I think that Mario graphic have some 1x1 pixels.

I think all the tiles there look good together.

SMW and SMB3 clash horribly, and there's nothing opiniony about that.

To have proof:
-smb3 is the most detailed
-smw is the least detailed
-smb3 is realistic
-smw is cartoony

IMO the Wood from SMB3 doesn't clash that bad against SMW. Still clashes but not horribly.
