What I like most is how you're not trying to be laugh out loud funny, but just providing a quirky atmosphere. Its a nice change of pace from TAoK or Hawkeyeone's comic that shall not be named.

And your drawing skills are boss, at least > mine

I agree with this, subtlety is key. Sure, the wackiness of TAOK was great but I'd say that this is looking better so far.
