Today I made some SMB2 wooden slopes

Again, there's no shading on the top of the slopes...

He means they look like someone drew a curvy line on the wood and the top part got cut off. I'd suggest adding a light color on the very top of the slopes to add a 3D effect.

They doesn't look like that, they are that. So, yeah, I'd suggest some shading, so it doesn't make cutoffs.
