Thanks Astronaut! Also, your suspected "bug" is intended. Usually at the end of train lines where buffers are present, workers normally strengthened the end with two pieces of ballasted track (timber). The last piece with the curved top corner is intended to, mainly just to prevent cut-off where the track ends.
As for "trains" I should probably have expanded that by saying, I'll start with freight cars, tankers, coal wagons and maybe one or two Switch Engines I will then begin working on a "Jupiter"-styled Western Passenger Steam Train and then of course a few more modern electric/diesel locos.
