they are getting up there in age, iirc it's mostly to focus on real life stuff. as it stands though, it's just from touring (ie they'll do one final tour and cease that) but they said there's no telling what could be in the future like one offs or new music.

Eh, I wasn't too attached of that place due to certain events that happened there (worst drama occurred there in 2013) and the fact that I wasn't too active there much. I really do wonder if the deletion of the forum was worth it for the community to progress even after Knux's forum lost it's dominant position to be the hub of SMBX activity when this forum opened.

Whatever how much you guys may have grown attached to that forum or not, the deletion of a forum is a sad sight to behold. RIP.

What? Hey, people late to the thread can still post. I'm not locking this just because a couple members are like "YEAH APC DESTROYED MISSION ACCOMPLISHED."

We just had a big old talk about letting up on locking threads just a few days ago anyway, so, I'M not doing it. If you're done, just, don't post. If users circlejerk the thread around, (or gravedig it and then post a "lol" or something in that ballpark) they'll be warned and then you'll get your lock.

Agreed. Knux was such an absolutist leader and he didn't let anyone else get in with him on discussions. He believed what he was doing was right, didn't let his people reason with him...and...and...he was essentially a dictator.

No one really knows why he did this, it's very likely he did it for no reason, but recently he's been talking with us about requesting the prophpBB staff to hand the data of his forum to Joey so he could make it an archive under his site if we agree to some "changes" he presented. He said he'd request prophpBB to close his forum around Christmas but now he's wiped it himself months before he said any actions would be done.

He probably just did something stupid while he was drunk. This isn't the first time that something like this has happened, about 6 months ago he deleted half of the boards on his forum and an effort had to be made to recover all the lost TAOKs.

Don't get me wrong, though, even if it was dark days, it's kind of sad that we've lost so much, but on the contrary, as I've sad many times before, Knux was never capable of being a community leader and I don't find it too sad that his forum is gone.

basically, a week ago (exactly a week ago, in fact) i couldn’t access my internet. at first i thought it was BT being a peice of shit as usual.
then, i got a text from my friend Rikki (panda) and i wasn’t able to respond to it until now.

my email adress was hacked into (the one i use for the forum, and facebook), so basically some fucking ASSHOLE has been using my accounts to fake this whole story.

i mean why the fuck would i delete my own forum?

i havent been able to access my internet until TODAY. i was later told that i had violated several BT policies. this is because the complete fuckwit decided to clone my IP adress.

so fucking pissed off

no, i have no contacted anyone in the last week, it was the hacker.
