Harbour Tileset

Postby Squishy Rex » Sun Aug 24, 2014 9:41 pm

Here's a new hand drawn tileset I've been working over the last week. Everything in the screenshot is included. The crate works like the ones in SM3DL, so you can break them. Give credit and enjoy!

Oh my God this looks astonishing, it's totally going to be used in my episode and surprisingly I have a great use for it. I hope to see more amazing hand drawn graphics from you.

Nice as always Squishy. I love the detail and the shading on each of those graphics.

Thanks guys, I'm glad you like it. I may extend it to have a few more tiles sometime in the future as well. Also, I forgot to put the breakable crate I mentioned into the screenshot, but it is there.

Oneof99: Shhh! I am making SMS graphics, or at least I had planned to... :)

Kep: Thanks, I hope to see the level you're going to use it in! And don't worry, with what I have planned and not giving away too many spoilers there won't be shortage of graphics from me for a long time. I may have not been so active for a while, but now I'm back indefinitely.

Samuel: Thanks a lot!

Natsu: Thanks Natsu, I'm glad you like it. As for the comment regarding the train in the WIP topic, thanks a bunch, I've been slaving over that thing for ages. :)

I see what you did there....

Either way, there are going to be SMS graphics including Delfino Plaza and Ricco Harbour.

Thanks for the comment dragonfan96, I really appreciate it. :)

I guess it could be Ricco Harbor, Delfino Plaza was the first to come to mind... but either one can be made with this. It could be recolored lighter to do that.

Possibly, that would be a good "quick and easy" alternative, though, maybe just recreating the whole thing from scratch in the true form of the Ricco Harbour tileset might suit better. That and it would be better then just a cheesy recolour.

I think the creator of these hinted at that, so we should let him do the honors himself.

I do have an episode, which is what most of what I make is for. You can find it in the Projects sub-forum, it is called "Utopia".

This is one epic newly created Harbour Tiles as I see. This is definetly worth for a newly themed Level like this. You made a good work. Can't see anything wrong with them.
