Actually Emojis and Smilies are different. To compare, ☺is an Emoji and is a smiley

Still, they're redundant and unnecessary so I advise against them.

With that logic we don't need smilies either because they are also redundant and unnecessary
If it's easy to implement them I'd vote for it, but if not then don't bother

I don't think what the OP is asking for is directly possible. If you find image files of the emojis somewhere on the internet, you can surely link them in your posts with the [img] tags, but that's the only solution.

Thats i do. This site has pretty much every emoji in vector or png (can't remember which they use) to show apple, android, or twitter/windows emojis.
