Levels are clearly edits of levels from Super Mario 64. Although I can certainly understand that 64 hacking is quite difficult, there is now a model importer which I believe can be found on SMW Central that will allow you to make completely custom levels. Unfortunately, this does not appear to be of a very high quality now, simply being the original levels with some different objects.
