I saw this movie last night and holy hell was it amazing. It's probably my favorite 2013 movie (though I saw it this year) and perhaps one of my favorite movies in general now.
Every single thing about it was fantastic, from the storytelling, to the characters, to the visuals, and especially the number of standard Disney movie tropes it turned on its head.
So, thoughts? Feelings? Discussion? Whatever?

Ya, this movie is pretty good, I mean I got the DVD for my little sister and she's been watching it non stop since I bought it. I particularly liked the Reindeer, he was funny as hell...

I have yet to watch it, though I honestly have little to no desire to watch any Disney movies anymore.

The DVD comes out in March. I may watch it around then.
I am not compelled to watch it, nor am I particularly interested. The snippets of it that I've seen are garbage, though I might be feeling overly judgemental. Watching it in its full context might be more endearing.
The last Disney movies I liked were The Princess and the Frog and, to some degree, Tangled.

The way they advertised this movie made it look like garbage. It's a fantastic movie, I swear.

And Tangled was amazing. :(

My opinion:
Frozen + Giant Cinema Screen = PROFIT. Pay 7.50$ and watch it.

It was a good movie. I think it was way better than past Disney movies. I found them boring, but I like this one.

Well, Frozen isn't considered the best Disney movie since The Lion King for nothing. It's not your typical, tasteless Disney movie (and neither is Tangled or Princess & the Frog, but you get my point) and it's even got one hell of a plot twist.

I thought it was a fantastic movie. Great visuals, ingenious plot, fascinating characters, and as a musician I really appreciate the drastic change of quality in the musical work in this film compared to earlier Disney animated musicals. They really got the best songwriters this time. The only thing that bothered me in the movie how stupidly they treated Elsa's powers at the beginning. It doesn't make sense to me that they locked her up and kept her powers secret from everyone when her gloves kept them perfectly under control. But overall, I enjoyed the film very much and I don't think I've rewatched any other film as many times as I've watched Frozen.

Why didn't I see this coming.
Just to let you know, I'm planning on making the film suitable for theatrical performances. I do need help on this. I sent Valtteri a PM because I thought that he would like it.

They're working it into a musical already.
