Moving Crusher Block (Including Castle Lava)

Postby Warlock » Sat Jul 12, 2014 2:53 pm

I spent 3 hours making this.

You can walk on it, but Istill haven't found a way to make it like a wall. Enjoy!

By the way, this is my first ever graphic so I hope I did well!

A wall that allows you to walk across certain obstacles and enemies. It follows you too, so in a way it is an obstacle in itself.

Ah, it's that request from the requests forum right?
It kinda reminds me of these spacy enemies from Super Paper Mario.
But didn't he want a wall of brick blocks which was spinning and animated? Ah well.
For a first graphic, it looks good. Definetly not the worst I've ever seen. Just the lava is ugh.
E: Checked requests forum. Although in concept it is similar, it's not that.

The lava is bland and the block makes no sense whatsoever. You should animate the lava and add lava tides to make it fancier.

The lava is bland and bad looking. I'd rather use other lava. And WHAT IS THAT THING!?

But then there would be cutoff.

It's my first graphic, so it's simple. And it has a...

FACE.

Make a background object which looks like the stem of the thing and attach the thing to its layer. The bgo will move together with the faceblock and there shouldn't be any cutoff.

Alternatively, use things like gfxoffsety to make it display lower.

Yep.

Why?

Because it took ages to fix mistakes and stuff and I accidentally renamed the stuff, plus, I had to make TWO exact copies. I couldn't be bothered to just copy-paste.
