Has a proper player freeze effect been added, officially or otherwise?

Player freeze as in, you know how the ice balls freeze enemies? Has anyone managed to make an enemy version of that which freezes the player(s) instead? I downloaded a custom Ice Bros LunaLua NPC the other day that I'm pretty sure is supposed to freeze people, but it doesn't really have that effect, so I figure there must be some missing part.

Do you have the "npc-263.lua" file in the level/episode folder that the download gave you? If not, then that's the problem.
