iirc, Phython 3.8 is the last to be on or support Windows 7, And since im pretty sure 2007 used a newer version, it is unlikely this works on Windows 7. I'd recommend switching to either 10 or 11 for better support and more wider usage of tools (if you have time and money, of course)

Updated the tool to make the edit layer window shorter.

I Found a Bug: Edit Layer Interface Down No OK and Cancel Button, Can't save change.
I think we are encountering the same problem. The bottom options are missing, and the option from the last row (for me, it's "startingFrames") looks cropped/faded. I think the window size was too small to display all the rows. Compared to the demo video of the tool, the objects in my window appear larger on my PC. I suspected something with high DPI settings, which I then went through Properties>Compatibility>Change High DPI settings, but it didn't fix it.

I also reviewed the main Python script. But obviously, the .exe file is not connected to the internal files, which didn't work when I tried to increase the edit window size or other things.
This should be fixed now.

I'm not sure, I've only tested this on a single pc so you'd have to test it yourself, sorry.

Hello again,
I downloaded and tested the Parallax Tool, but unfortunately, it crashed and I encountered an error on launch.
I'm currently using Windows 7 (32-bit), and it seems the tool isn't compatible with my system.
If there's any workaround or older version that works with Python 3.8 or supports Win7, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I really wished it supported 32-bit. It would have saved time and effort, even if the program had problems.

I tried to load an already existing background file, however the tool just switched over to nothing. Is this a bug?

weird, the youtube video shows me opening an existing background.

Are you loading a background that has translucent layers? if yes then it takes a while to load such backgrounds.
