Switch Pro Controoler not working on Linux Mint

Hello my switch pro controller for SMBX is not working on Linux via wine it is detected by the game but the inputs do nothing. I checked if the controls where correct and they where. It says its an SDL Nintendo Switch Controller, also made sure it was detected and working in Wine Control Panel help would be appreciated thank you.
