Not as many people as last time. Looks like not many are a fan of Mirror Mode. We probably won't be seeing it again for a long, long time. Anyway, for the next tournament we could go back to normal rules or we could do something crazy. Frantic Mode or bob-ombs only? Something crazy. What do you guys think?
Note: FireMario did win again, but this time he only beat me by 4 points!
Bob-ombs only sound pretty exciting. I feel like it'd be impossible to get someone out of the lead, though. They're not long range enough. It would be really fun either way though.
I only remember Toadette as annoying. Well, at least catching up to her without Red Shells, and then whenever we actually hit her, she shrugged it off and zoomed ahead. Anyhow, again, don't expect me to be in the next tournament, which I think we should try Frantic Mode, or something like Mushrooms Only. Oh, and can we invite the CPU if hardly anyone plans on showing up? Three people racing for the gold can become somewhat oligopolistic.

I've seen people fall off the track completely and then appear right behind me as if they didn't fall, and I've seen this in online modes in Wii, 7, AND 8. I assume it's a synchronization issue when that happens. Your issue with Quill getting hit may be something similar.
Anyway I'm almost ALWAYS working around the time of this event. My shift generally starts at the beginning of each tournament. I'd like to set up an alternative one, perhaps on Sunday.

Well, once in Mario Kart 7, I was at the finish line, and then the opponent just went in front of me with no prompt whatsoever. On my birthday, I might get the game. Is the tourney still going?
