Are you kidding? Getting seizures from two, 32x32 images that have like, 4 different colors? I doubt anyone has that terrible of eyes now but whatever.

Rainbow Shell has all of the colors of a rainbow.

Are you aware that epilepsy is a thing, and it can be triggered by the slightest of flashing lights? It's also not caused by somebody's eyesight, it's caused by some form of injury or defect in the brain. It's neurological. Pretty simple to comprehend that some people are prone to epileptic seizures and flashing lights are definitely not a friend of someone with epilepsy.

Are there not in-browser plugins that could work to detect and filter out these kinds of things, though?
Not that I disagree with the reason to change the ranks. It's a minor change and it's just a small kindness.

Because I find it incredibly unlikely that someone, even with epilepsy, would get a seizure from a 32x32 image that they don't even look at most of the time they're on the page.
Signatures and avatars I can understand, but not ranks.

The Kamikaze shell is the same from smbx they both do the same thing but it's unlikey like Joey said that someone even would stare it the whole day at it. Also if someone doesn't tell us he has epilepsy or so it's not our fault.
You better say if you have epilepsy because if you don't do so and get harmed by it it's your fault for not telling anyone.

I would much rather have someone who actually has epilepsy tell us what needs to be removed.

I would much rather remove anything that could trigger an epileptic seizure instead of taking a risk and putting someone in a risk, doesn't that make common sense?

For the longest time, this community wouldn't give two shits if you had a health-related (I wouldn't even call it health-related) problem, mental or physical. I don't think adding a rule where users with problems inform the staff of them is going to solve anything, because they could care less about any problems you have. If you break the rules that's your own fault, not some health-related problem you might have, so don't make up some bullshit story to get out of it. Simple as that.

I don't think half the people here are aware what autism really is, therefor they wouldn't care enough to treat you differently. Do you think people treat me any different for my bi-polar/depression? They don't, that's the thing. There are really only one of two possibilities, either half the people here aren't aware of said mental disorder to know or care enough about how to treat you, or they disregard the mental disorder completely because it doesn't pertain to them and they could give less of a shit on how you're treated.

That sounds like a good idea. But I should probably report you for backseat moderating.

If someone who has difficulty with flashing light/epilepsy wants to report a problem with flashing images, they are free to do so, but I'm not going to make any decisions based upon someone who doesn't.
I was going to put the ranks back the way they were, but I actually think Hammer Bro and Green Yoshi are better.

Now Joey's got to edit that post up in the front and put the next rank up...
Also I think the smb1 hammer guy is way better than the smb3 one.

They didn't change the SMB3 hammer bros to a SMB one, it is now the ninji.
Probably the next rank is Larry...Well, who knows.

I like how people think 1600 posts is a lot, when in reality thats not even close to half of how many posts i have elsewhere, which is 5138 currently.
