Cheat Code Bug? (SMBX2)

I'm not sure if this is 100% a bug but if you click 1 or 2 player and click any episode, you can enter a cheat code and then it stays enabled when leaving, but then it doesn't disable when I go into Battle Mode which means I can use donthurtme, jumpman, etc inside of Battle Mode.

But then again, Battle Mode in SMBX2 is broken so I'm not sure if this will be fixed until the full release of SMBX2
