Hi guys, i'm brasilian and I'm new to the forum and I'm creating an episode for SMBX 1.4.5. I still don't understand all the editor's tools, nor do I know how to use the editor's programming part, but I still wanted to create an episode to pass the time.
The first DEMO of the game was finally finished, containing 15 levels between castles, secret paths and a very well hidden special stage!
For now I kept the game in Brazilian Portuguese, which is my native language, but that doesn't change anything, since the game is focused on gameplay and not on the story. But I will translate it in the next DEMO.
The name of the episode is New Super Mario Land, it has 9 worlds in total including the "secret" world.
World 1 - Mushroom Plains
-World includes mushroom mechanics and simple stages that can be from difficulty 1 to 2, except for the secret star stage that has difficulty S.
-Number of Levels: 12
-Common Levels: 7.
-Towers and Castles: 2.
-Secret Levels: 1.
-Secret Exits: 4.
-It has a secret passage to world number 4.
World 2 - Boom's Desert

World 5/6 - Mount Lakitu/Skyview Mountain
-This world consists of two distinct mechanics and a mixture of both. The two worlds coexist in the same location, but are completely different, while one has Sky mechanics and the other has mountain mechanics. Difficulty 3 to 4, except for the secret star stage that has difficulty S.

World 9 - The Superstar Galaxy
-This world mixes all the mechanics seen so far with galactic mechanics, in addition to the stages themselves, it is also possible to access an extra stage of each world (Secret Levels). To enter each common stage of this world you must have collected a certain number of stars.. Difficulty 5, except for the secret star stage that has difficulty S.
-Number of Levels: 11.

-This world is ready but I prefer to keep it a secret so that the player can discover it.
The episode is ongoing, and only 11.1% of the Levels have been completed. Here are some screenshots from the first and second world.
Purpose of the game: Collect all Star Coins to beat the game. A super secret Level can be found in the final world, it can only be played if you have found all the stars in the game, stars are found by completing Toad's challenges, by finding three Star Coins in each level or by battling enemies specials.
The game has no story focus, so the main story is that Bowser kidnapped Princess Peach, and took her castle and stars with him.
