It's been seven years since the episode was released, but I'm pretty sure it does not require a modified SMBX. The version on rpgmaker.net should be the original and only version. I don't know how the episode ended up on that article.

Do you still have the "individual game" version of the episode? I saw it listed in the "How to TheXTechize the old game" article on how to get individual SMBX packages to be playable on TheXTech, a reimplementation of the original SMBX engine.

Don't worry, that was a little mistake, the article has been fixed, episode is just a normal episode that doesn't need customized asssets
