I may check it out, does it work with beta 3?
Yes, it works, moreover Beta 3 is recommended for playing.

I really like the SMB1 style, and the levels look accurate to what they would have been like in an official game. Well done.

Does that mean you actually played it?

Not yet, I was stating it based on the screenshots, I just started it today.

Also what's with those Young Link sound effects as well at the start of levels?

Let me guess you're playing in PAL
In fact there's some cheats for thinkable extra players ;)
Sorry I still didn't figure out how to fix it without losing compatibility :?

Yeah, the sounds are strange and yes, I am playing in PAL. :D
That explains a bit more then.

Is the episode based on SMB1, or Mario Forever? And so a good episode! I have already passed the first world.

Piranha Patch

This update is actual for Beta 4 after 2nd patch. It fixes NPC codes in internal folders (mostly fishes & upper piranha plants). Since after patch 2 game doesn't keep global settings for NPCs which has *.txt files in level folders.
The full archive is also replaced.
