Having trouble with both recent versions of SMBX on Windows 10

Hi.
I've been having a problem with playing the old SMBX 1.3.0.1, and playing the most recent beta (Beta 4 Patch 2 Release) on Windows 10.
I can play SMBX 1.3.0.1 perfectly fine, but there is a trailing glitch where the textures just paint the screen.
And, on the most recent Beta, it wont even let me play it, it will say, "Run-time error '53': file not found."
The level editor works on the beta one, but it just shows a black screen and won't let me do anything.
If anyone can help me with fixing this problem, it would be very much appreciated, I've been wanting to just mess around with a Mario editor for a while.
