Downloading smbx

My dad just got his computer back from the shop it got repaired from a recent virus, to avoid causing anymore trouble can anyone tell me if the smbx1.3.1 download link has any viruses or anything? Mind scanning or or doing something. Help would be very well appreciated

Double post, ouch I downloaded smbx 1.3.0.1 and my chrome blocked it due to '' malicious '' software. Maby it has harmful programs or its just a mistake?

Nope, zero, zelch.
The reason Chrome is blocking it is because it's an exe. file. Exe. files are the most used type of file to transmit viruses, so Chrome is not trusting it.
But it's 100% safe.

First of all, nope, no viruses.
Second of all, why would someone go through the trouble of making a fourm for a single virus and still have it up?
Third, if there was one, we most likely wouldn't tell you.

Because it ended with exe and Chrome detected it as a Virus because of this cause the same happened to me.

It's not a malicious link. If you have a browser that detects it as such, you should probably get a better browser.

Computer got infected awhile back, but my anti-virus scanned smbx, looks like there is nothing wrong.

The pop-ups on those downloading sites do....
