I also can't load my episode from the SMBX2 Launcher.
Day 1 of patch 2 and I already broke the game. :x
2) When the launcher fails to load your episode, what happens? Does it just not show up? If so, is it in the worlds folder and have you given it a name in the editor? What is the name?
Never mind, it's fixed.
I think the problem was that I was using a .wldx file. I changed it to a .wld file, and it loads now.
Is it generally a bad idea to use .lvlx and .wldx file formats?
Using lvlx is encouraged. It's required for things like vertical wrap, darkness settings and npc extra settings. wldx isn't supported yet. Once it becomes supported, the support for it will be detailed in the changelog for the version introducing it.

.wldx is not functional yet, from what I heard.
.lvlx however is functional since the first release of Beta 4 (even the preview releases) and essential to use most new features and their properties.

lvlx is completelly fine an preferrred rather than lvl, since it can store stuff like extra settings, wldx on the other side is not supported and isnt gonna work in any way, i guess it will be supported by full version

Is it just I or the mouser is acting strangely? Whenever the player is standing on the top of the mouser ( assuming it is playerblocktop ), the player slides to the side for whatever reason.

That... looks fairly standard considering mouser is walking against the wall. Same thing famously happens with skull rafts and conveyor belts after all.

I'm a big fan of Super Mario Land 2, and grew up with it. When I was about five years old, my dad gave me his old Gameboy Color that he had when he was a kid, along with Double Dragon, Donkey Kong Country, Battleship, and Super Mario Land 2: The Six Golden Coins. Because of that, I've always loved replaying Super Mario Land 2, finding the special levels, and just seeing everything it had to offer really. I think it would be awesome to see enemies from Super Mario Land 2 in the Miscellaneous category at least, and even maybe some unique blocks or NPCs from it. This would be asking for too much probably, but it'd be SUPER cool to see blocks, tiles, a few backgrounds, a few pieces of music (map and/or level songs), enemies, and the such, like how the games from All-Stars for the SNES have their blocks, tiles and such available. Even if you don't go that far (most likely ), I think it'd be cool to at least have it shown a little love in SMBX2, seeing as I love both Super Mario Land 2 and SMBX2 a ton.

You'll have to be more specific, as most things are just reskins of things already in the game and can be done ( and have been done) as simple custom graphics.

Actually, the koopas (they have a different name that I do not recall) that explode after being stomped (Mario Land 1) would be neat to see. I don't know if an existing enemy could be modified to recreate the movement behavior of these, but...

Nokobons are already in SMBX2.

Inaccuracy with arrow lifts: They should make a sound when they change direction, but they don't.

Found a bug: If a Buster Beetle (Blue Brick throwing beetles) are killed while picking up a brick, then this happens:
Also, don't know if this is intentional, but are question blocks supposed to disappear when spawning a mutant vine piranha plant?

Minor issues with Block config:
Link character switches aren't flagged "bumpable"
Most animated blocks return "1" for the number of frames

1.3 blocks don't support the frame config, so they're going to report incorrect values. As for Link character switches, I'm not sure why that is happening, since they haven't changed...
Oh, and the buster beetle and mutant vine bugs have both been fixed and will be included in the next patch.
EDIT: Fun thing - Link's character switch has never been bumpable - not even in 1.3. That is something we're likely to fix.

I don't know, were mutant vines supposed to spawn even though its layer is hidden?

Huh! By any chance, do you have the SFX that it's supposed to play?

Even after installing Patch 2, the launcher STILL does not open. This is a serious bug and I'm shocked it hasn't been resolved yet.

Do you have any further information that might help us migitate this issue present for probably less than 0.1% of users?

When I click on the launcher, the cursor spins and then disappears immediately. The task remains in my task manager, but the launcher does not open. PGE works fine.
