I don't think that you should list spin jump as a feature, you can't remove it and that's why it really is in the episode. Btw you should make the game little harder than original because item storing and spin jump are going to make the game a lot easier than the original.

It's the "hard mode" of SMB1 that you get after beating the game, where Goombas are replaced with Buzzy Beetles and some enemies move a bit faster.
Look like a great remake, although I'm thinking would 2 player mode might be better, possibly if the levels were set to no scroll back? I think it was no scroll back in SMB 1

There are too many glitches with "No-Turning Back" that would turn the remake into a re-break. This video explains why.
