Hey could you please answer my previous question about if there's any star indicators in the episode. It's really not good game design to have the player know there's 53 stars and in addition no indication or tracker which levels the player has/has not gotten stars in. If not, could you list which levels and how many stars they have.
There are no star indicators, just know that every single level has one star in it. I was going to make a VLDC9 styled completion tracker but I don't know how to make something like that so I just left it as is. I do know where every one is. I've tried to make most of them challenge rather than hunting for them.

I will finish this episode, fixing every castle, as for the completion tracker, unless someone can help me make one, it will be left as is.
Although I will make a longplay as a guide.

Added in 2 minutes 21 seconds:
Death counter is clearly flawed, it used to work, but when I use it with rooms.lua and it's script it sometimes doubles and sometimes not. It will be removed permanently unless the creator of rooms.lua has fixed the event.
I think it’s fine if you just have something specifying in the game there’s one star per level
Perhaps a tutorial level in the beginning that you're forced to play.

13.0 has been released. This release just polishes things, and removes the warp in 5-2 because there's a seperate level for that. Improves title screen and other. A tutorial level has been added and cannot be skipped.

I remember how stageleft said plenty of times "this should be the final version, no more patching" for Mystic Atlus. Basically, you can never be sure to stop patching.

The version number also shouldn't have skyrocketed so quickly; a few fixes and minor changes don't justify a full increase of the number. Basically, there are three digits for major version, minor version and patch version.

I wanted it to be the last :(

lol but yeah, I expected this to be the last, and I wanted the last to be 13.0 and not 12.9.4.

13.0 looks nicer right? Well it doesn't impact the gameplay.

13.0.2 has been released, small update, fixes some small visual glitches and fixes an accidental bug where you could enter world x with 4 stars, it's supposed to be 48. Has been fixed. Other than that, nothing has changed.

Do not redownload unless you want to or using a really old version.

nice to hear that you're doing another project.

Instead of using a different camera, I suggest you simply use SMW player costumes to keep your desired SMW vibes.

Next project will be smaller, around 6 levels. But it will be quite hard, close to light kaizo. Though to make it easier, infinite lives and the same quick respawning from A SMBX Episode will be present. SMW styled still and all gimmicks and features will be shown to the player. Could be beaten by almost anyone even though the gameplay is difficult.

if you plan on just a handful of levels with very high difficulty, I rather recommend releasing them as individual levels.

All levels except the 1-tower. The secret exits are *only* switch palaces. I did not put any actual secret exists due to all levels being unlocked. I do not have a discord currently, going to make one though.

I gave myself a star since it was missing in 4-3. I just 100%ed the episode. Video on youtube coming out soon
