If I got one complaint about this custom background, it'll be that there's 8-bit & 16-bit graphics clashing!

With those "night pipes", I think these clouds are a bit much, but the pipes would look good when the sky is clear.

There might be a way to make clouds work with it, though it would have to be a custom design.

I tried to give it a world 8/special world vibe. Unique bgs mean unique levels.

And unique levels are definitely good. I like the night pipe theme overall. It's just that there's sometimes that one small detail when designing something, and in this case it's the clouds.

Okay, now I see it. I might like it more with the blue/black sky color gradient, though I don't know how hard that would be.
