Also fixing some my older stuff to look a little more accurate. The sprite work is more or less done for the searchlight ferry, but at the moment the platforms and searchlight are just static blocks or BGOs. Now that light and darkness effects are possible in SMBX2 I'm sure it could be made functional now.

Im very glad you like It so far! its actually not too far from being finished in terms of making the graphics but im still learning luna lua so I can make this its own npc, with its own behaviors,attacks ect. My main goal with this is guy to make it the most deadliest and scariest npc in smbx to date.

Yeah, decided to go work on my Neo Geo Pocket Color custom style Mario sprites, because why not zoidberg? And please note, it's STILL not SMBX ready yet.

I got a total of 5 frames finished so far. A couple for idle/walking animations and a second set for chasing/attacking. Im surprised I blazed through this pretty quickly even though I still have a hefty amount of frames I need to do. Im currently aiming at making more walking frames. I managed to make a sprite sheet to keep track on it.

This looks really cool. Is this planned as a Boss?
Im not entirely sure, Maybe it could it could function as a boss in the future. What comes to mind with ideas for it is that Im planning to make it it's own npc with luna lua and make him chase mario and attempt to eat him. Something like a land boss bass but far more resistant to damage. And he can break through brittle blocks. I haven't made a script for it though.

Nice Concept. If you want to make it a Boss and a normal Enemy you could set some Rider on the Back of the Boss Variant. I also do it like this with my Quaduucat:

Interesting idea. Once I release the npc it can be freely edited,recolored,etc as long as you give me credit.

So I was working on my SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis custom GFXs, and the long slope cave GFXs were a bit messed up. So I fixed the slope support tile instead of fixing the long slopes, because why not zoidberg?

It's not a sizeable! The striped block with grass on it replaces SMB1 grass tiles. Unless you're talking about the graphic with the pink stripe

Well, okay. It looks cool either way. What do you think of the Character Redesign?

It's not a sizeable! The striped block with grass on it replaces SMB1 grass tiles. Unless you're talking about the graphic with the pink stripe

You mean the style right? Because Andrêa Penca is a orginal Character :D
