I AM SO SICK OF SEEING 1.4 HAVE BETTER THINGS THAN SMBX 2.0!!! HOW COME IT DOESNT HAVE THE GOLD FLOWER? CAN SOMEONE MAKE A GOLD FLOWER FOR SMBX 2.0 ALREADY!!!!

Please don't make posts in ALL CAPS. New power-up creation remains impossible as of currently, which explains why no new power-ups have made into the basegame.

Added in 2 minutes 9 seconds:
The only thing that can be done currently is replace an existing power-up with a new one.

I mean, now the source code of SMBX has been revealed, it may be possible to build a new "custom" non-in-base-game built powerup.

how come it’s possible in 1.4!?

It is a completely different engine, so it's not constrained by a source code written by a drunk Redigit.

either remake smbx using another engine like gamemaker etc or just wait until the devs figure out how to add new powerups .....dont know why its impossible but theres gotta be a workaround that doesnt involve replacing whats already there

surely i mean come on it cant actually break the universe to figure it out lol there has to be a way
