SMBX 2.0 Beta 4 Ideas

Heya, this is a something and your reading it.
Heres a couple things id like to see added to SMBX
1. DK Barrels
2. Giant Bullet Bill (the ones from Super Mario Bros Wii
3(what everyone wants) Wall Jumping
4 Giant + Mega + Ultimate TNT
5 Ground Pound
6. moar episodes like always <3
7. Speed Booster
8. Water Bubble (lava bubble version for water :P)
9. 1.4.4 Powerups
10. Baby Yoshi
11. Purple and Orange Koopas
12. This might not be possible, but a Cappy powerup or a Cappy option
13. Flag Checkpoint

Could be added when more warps are finalized.

Already added iirc (King Bill).

Not really a priority. You can download a ton of good episodes from the SMBX Worlds page and from the monthly threads, as well as some good ones in the Episodes forum. This said there are a few non-traditional episodes added and a few classics.
7. Speed Booster
There's a cheat for this. Could consider implementing it in a different fashion as well maybe?
8. Water Bubble (lava bubble version for water :P)
Not sure how this would work unless the water was dangerous, in which case you could just use a resprites lava bubble.
9. 1.4.4 Powerups
We actually have to extend the power-up array to do so for SMBX2.
10. Baby Yoshi
Pyro was working on these I think.
11. Purple and Orange Koopas
What would these do? Unless they have a specific AI different than those we already have it might not be warranted.
12. This might not be possible, but a Cappy powerup or a Cappy option
Yoshi021 was working on a full Odyssey API to recreate this whole mechanic. The difficulty is that you have to write a new AI for almost every single different NPC that can be captured. I was helping with that a bit and otherwise don't know how far this has gotten recently.
13. Flag Checkpoint
Already added for Beta4

Maybe for running and jumping levels? Or maybe like near the end of like an episode where you have to run out of a certain base before it explodes, like sonic mania?

So basically it works like the boosters from 3D World, it's would be used in fun levels that require the player to run really fast, while looking out for obstacles and would help for many gimmicks such as chasing a flying goal/object, making panic courses and so on.

1. Beta 4 is basically done at this point. We've been only fixing bugs and polishing edges for the past month.
2. Anyone can make and import NPC packs. No need for them to be part of basegame.
