Custom Character Measures (Uncle Broadsword)

Postby DrMekar » Tue Jan 28, 2020 3:00 pm

Hi there,

so I've made a Uncle Broadsword Skin (Currently only Form 1). I already figured out how to change the "normal size" of the Character before which
worked for most scenarios, except for most Attacks. Following the Tip of a Community Member, I placed all Poses in the Left Corner of their "Box".
Now it's even weirder, since the Height when walking seems to fit still, though Nothing else does.
Image
Help would be apperiated.

Looks like you didn't configure the character using the playable character configuration tool correctly (it's in the PGE folder). The Uncle Broadsword default configuration files are in data/configs/characters.

I wanted too though the Message kinda confused me:
"If you want to use this Sprite in SMBX, please, don't edit this
Settings."

That message assumes SMBX 1.3, it's really bad. There's no risk in editing the hitbox.

Okay. Thanks for clearing that up.

Added in 2 hours 4 minutes 18 seconds:
Since I haven't used the Calibrator before, I'm kinda confused on how to save anything except for one pose. Idle is correct, though running is in the Air. When I
fix this, Idle is in The Air and Running is correct, means the save option is pretty useless because there're only Global Settings. Couldn't find an Answer to my
Question in the PGE Wiki.
