Mothula's lair [DEMO for a future project]



-Im working on a big project with Multiple dungeons with customs mobs, items, graphics and bos, etc, and I made a little tease to get reviews to know if I should continue this project or not.

-This map is really short, it can be finish in 15 minutes easy.

-Its a custom boss that is inspired by Mothula from Link To The Past.

-I created somes of the textures but I also used somes textures that I used from this episode:New Great Castle Adventure! http://www.smbxgame.com/forums/v ... php?t=4856

-Mostly, I want reviews about the boss, if its actually good, or in wich ways I can improve it or if its just garbage and I should give up my project.

Didn't seem bad. You're given time to react to stuff and the exclamation point hints toward incoming danger. The only thing I noticed which I don't is fixable because of how the boss is is that if you just jump on the boss during the first few parts it turns into a green turtle and walks off the level otherwise not bad at all.

Also I'm assuming this is for 2.0? I noticed the custom tileset in the editor. If you got notepad++ or something similar use this code in the level local under lunalua scripts.

function onStart()
player.character = 5
end

It'll force the player to be Link without having to use a player block. Pretty handy (unless you're gonna fix that with the wld. file if this would be a Link only episode).

Alright, thanks you for the review! I patced the fact that you can jump on the boss and yes its for smbx 2.0 but im still learning how to use the new editor.
