Sometimes I heard the obtained "bland levels", What is the meaning of this?
Is this mean that the level is not good or boring?
Sorry if that's a stupid question

I'm guessing it's similar to "vanilla levels" or levels with no custom gfx or music

A bland level is an uninteresting level that is not fun to play due to its lack of content. It has nothing to do with what was suggested in the previous post.

Blandness and vanilla often coincide because lazy beginner designers choose to not use custom graphics anyway. It's not the definition though.
bossedit's video "what to not make in SMBX" should give you enough of an idea.

This thread is also useful for me because i thought bland levels were levels without BGO's.

Not having BGOs doesn't help the situation.

So that means that not having BGO's in a level doesnt makes it bland?

It doesn't necessarily, no. You can have a level that is not bland and has no BGOs, but also a level that IS bland and is full of them.
Blandness is about design, not visuals.

That's not what Electriking is saying. You could make a visually appealing level without BGOs (especially in castles, factories, other unnatural settings), but they're still important for good visuals.

Guess I'm a lazy Designer, I often love making Levels without cgfx.
It's not that i hate using them, but having some non cgfx Levels is pretty nice as well.

Vanilla levels are good, it's just that some stuff are more limited than the others if someone is sticking to just one style.

Please pay attention to mathematical logics guys, my statement implies absolutely nothing about the converse.
