Wait, latest?
Yeah, about five years ago when I was actually active on this forum, I released a project called Search for the Stars (which I don't think has a download link anymore - probably for the better). This project started about three years ago, with work put in off-and-on, before finally getting finished this summer.
What am I getting into?
This is, as implied by the name, a fairly straightforward 1.3.0.1 episode. There are 26 levels and a total of 30 exits to find in this episode.
What are people saying about Cliche Mario Bros.?
"Incredible... this man is truly one of the greatest level designers of our time."
- Shigeru Miyamoto
"Yeah it's pretty good, I guess."
- guy I bribed to say he enjoyed the episode
"I don't know this person you're talking about."
- my mom
Enough crap, let's see some screenshots
Thanks again for checking out this episode. I hope you enjoy Cliche Mario Bros.
UPDATE! WOW!
A day one patch? Who are you, EA? Yeah, as fate would have it, merely twelve hours after unleashing my episode upon the world, I noticed a couple slight oversights that I wanted to fix. So, reupload!
UPDATE 2
It was brought to my attention that Menacing Mole Hole was unbeatable.
I don't know when, how or why, but somehow a warp had its exit misplaced so that the level was not beatable. It is now fixed.
UPDATE 4/4/2020
Long overdue. A few miscellaneous bug fixes, as well as making a minor nerf to Skybridge Surge.
- Edited Menacing Mole Hole, Floodwater Foray, Torrid Tides and Bowser Castle. These levels formerly were entered by a warp. What I did not realize was that this would render checkpoints useless if the project was not set to restart level on death. These level entrances have been fixed.
- Fixed Toad House #4 so that it won't softlock the player.
- Gave a little hint in Torrid Tides as to where the secret exit is.
- A couple minor changes to enemy placement in Skybridge Surge to make it a little more enjoyable (hopefully).
