Everything in the screenshots is included, and there's some more in the file. Comes with an example level.

Can you feel the aesthetic?
No? okay...
Jokes apart this looks pretty good, if you extend it in the future it may be Digital Madness 2.0

I'm glad you liked it. I'm too lazy for that, but I'll think about it.

The original concept was a lot better, but I don't know if there is any way to make backgrounds that don't loop.

If you made the background I think you can extend it perfectly

Yes I made it. Sorry, but I don't get what you mean. I thought you meant extending the set (tilesets/npcs) or something, but are you talking about the backgroud itself?

I'm not sure, I'm kinda out of ideas, but I'll try to add something.

I added some basic stuff. Maybe I'll make some more stuff, but I think it's very solid right now.
Update:
-Added some BGOs
-Recolored SMB3 Enemies
-Recolored SMB3 Wood tileset
-Added a custom checkpoint:

-Added a custom exit star:

Most of the GFXs featured in the pack reminds me of neon MSX graphics imo

Paint.NET. Made the base with plain colors and slapped a bunch of gradients on it.

Aw man, I don't want to know how much the people who make complex backgrounds suffer

The only problem I had was saving it into GIFs. It can really mess up the gradients since it reduces colors.

I've never seen anything like it. Good job. I really like the extra details of making each enemy and block look like they've come straight from the Retrowave thing.
