If you do a collab episode, people probably won't make levels for it, since I believe people would rather submit to SLAM.
However, others might. Just specify which version to make the levels on!

You should create a Discord server like some people have when they need people to colab on their project

I don't think the user will come back to read these posts. People already don't care about SMSSX, which is a collab project, that uses 38A, which is dead nowadays, which makes me think they won't care about this, too.
I think it would better to not have a second collab project, and stick to one collab project at a time from now on.

The version I'm using is 1.3.0.1.
And...no, I can't make a Discord account. My dad won't let me do that.
Added in 4 minutes 59 seconds:
Either, I also have fear of getting my first episode topic locked. You know, when you don't post screenshots or the download link, then nobody can answer anymore.

That's why you follow the rules, they exist for a reason. Even regardless of the rules, 95% of all projects from first-time posters (all posted with very little progress beyond the idea) disappear immediately together with their posters.
That's why projects must show an already existing solid basis before they can be taken seriously. "seeing is believing" literally applies here, especially when looking for collaborators

Ha ha Cedur, you thought I was dumb enough to not comprend the forum rules? sammerbro wrote:

So, my first episode, I decided to name it "Worldwride Adventure". The main story is the same, that Peach gets kidnapped by Bowser during a celebration in her castle. But this time, Mario (and Luigi) won't have to traverse only the Mario-themed worlds. Now he'll have to go through a lot of levels, even of foreign games (non-Nintendo ones), strange levels, and more.
I almost finished the first level, "The adventure begins", however I cannot make three messages from an NPC correctly, when I click after the first message line it just makes the sound, then works in a second time. Any help?
When I finish it, I'll load it on Mediafire, test it, and see if you like it.

Use a talk event to trigger another event, then use that event to trigger another event that all have messages to get three messages.

Absolutely thanks for your level. I'll take it.
UPDATE: Ok, I've played it in the level editor, and I like it. A bit short, but since it's one of the first levels of the episode it's OK.
Added in 22 minutes 49 seconds:
However, I edited it a bit with a message box at the beginning, because I planned to make a welcome-to-area message at the beginning of the levels that aren't Mario-themed. I'd like to insert a message once you get to the level's boss but how?

Use an activate event that has a message.

Done. Works perfectly. Now I need to finish the level.

Er... Sammerbro can you please send me your level again but with a ? ball at the end instead of the star? I planned to NOT add any stars in this episode.

Just edit the level and do that

I did. It was a total disaster in the ending though.

Can you tell why?
It's a little more than just replacing the star with a ball; you eventually need to attach the ball to the star's layer; and if you have a world map you might also need to fix the level exit accordingly

You must make the layer the star is on visible, THEN replace it.

I didn't even begin to make the world map.

I cannot replace it anyway. A step-by-step is enough?
