When I was in band leadership in high school I definitely made somewhat of an impact on people. One of my younger section mates that I mentored is head section leader on top of marching in a top 10 drum corps and I don’t know if he would’ve stuck around through the harder times if I hadn’t been there.

I’ve also been there for my friends in a lot of situations. Don’t underestimate the impact you can have on people, at any age.

My friend group finally got our weekly smash tournaments to be somewhat functional, I went solo Pokemon Trainer after not sleeping and didn’t drop a set despite the circumstances. My closest competitor couldn’t come, which would explain that. Heading to Low Tier City 7 this coming weekend and probably not gonna take any games at all, but that’s ok because i’m going for the fun more than anything.

Started up my first non-online college class today, Business Law. Looking interesting so far.

Shorty was actually a stray cat, I found him trying to hop the fence into the backyard. I was the one who fed him and cleaned his litterbox too.

Mine starts September 2nd, why does school always have to fucking start before my birthday? Why can't it start in October or something?

Which smash game?

Ultimate. I am nowhere close to tournament ready with any character in 64, Melee, or Brawl (I have an alright Falco in smash 4 but not a huge fan of 4 in general, and I’m learning Pikachu in Melee but that game has an insane learning curve competitively)

I like parrots too, they're very smart birds, I even have a wild parrot that lands on me while I feed it fruit occasionally. (Bread is not a good thing to feed birds). I also like Goats, because they're a noble animal that can actually get as friendly as dogs.

Nice, Which kind of parrot do you have?

It's a Rainbow Lorikeet. It comes around every now and then and has a post which it sits on while it eats. I usually have to start walking over there before it flies to the post and waits eagerly for me to get there. It's pretty cool. I don't know if its a boy or a girl because it's nearly impossible to distinguish genders from Lorikeets by simply looking at them.

Just got a job at Six Flags. Mainly bc I need money and they were the first place to reply to my app. I’ve heard mixed things about working there but considering it’s mainly for experience and I can look for something better in a few months when I’m 18 (can get better jobs) and actually need more money than SF pays (Sprouts is nearby and starts at $11/hr)

Out of town rn, meeting some friends from out of town, then gonna be competing at LTC tomorrow.
