Old Odyssey demake tileset (sunset cliff)

Postby ivanmegafanboy » Wed Jul 03, 2019 9:53 am

This is a 16 bit demake based on the original motifs from Kirby Triple Deluxe for the Nintendo 3ds. It only includes a set of blocks and a set of background objects. Pretty colorful, and the amount of details on each block made it hard to put black outlines, thus I decided to not include them, so it might clash with SMB3 or SMW styles.

I like the tiles, they look vibrant and very detailed. With the flower and jewel parts in the ground though, why didn't you just do a large block or use a 4x4 background instead? Just to make things easier.

Oh, don't worry, I did just that. The main image in the top of the post is the file I was using to create the graphics, but the 4x4 and 6x6 elements were put into big blocks.

Ah I see. That makes more sense.
