Bowser's Crazy Contraptions 3 (WIP/Possible cancellation)

This is a thread for my level Bowser's Crazy Contraptions 3. Possible cancellation. Heavy WIP. I lost all of my progress on this level when I accidentally deleted all SMBX files and cleared my recycle bin (not on purpose at all.) Here's the only surviving screenshot, I'm gonna try to recreate it as good as possible. Don't be mad at me ;v;
Also, it's slated for a summer release date. I've got to balance it between the Mario Takes A Three level contest and this so it's most likely going to miss the deadline.

The mario brothers' house has been recreated from screenshots in the #showcase channel of the discord.

The level has been changed to take place in a cave moreso than a castle/dungeon. The level will transition into a dungeon as the level goes on and you get closer to fighting bowser.

What's with the paintings in the lava? They don't appear to really be adding anything, unless I'm wrong and they're a part of some puzzle.

Project threads are reserved for, well, projects as opposed to individual levels. You can instead post your progress in the Screenshots thread, and upload your level to the Levels forum once it's done!
