I just want to know, is Super Mario Bros X (SMBX) v1.4 is really a original version ? Because when i download it i find viruses. So i'm just using SMBX v1.3.0.1 and it's trusted. I'm typing that because i found a post in this forums says that SMBX 1.4 is banned ? So please, if that version is made by SMBX owners tell me and give me the link of it (without viruses of course). And if not, just type "No". Thank you anyways and BYE !!!

No, SMBX 1.4.x was it's own game engine... Different than the original 1.3.0.x/2.0

SMBX 38A (sometimes called 1.4) is not truly SMBX. It's a completely different engine made to look superficially similar.

SMBX2, on the other hand, is a continuation project of the original SMBX made by Redigit, which is still ongoing and you can download from http://codehaus.moe.

also the posts that say "1.4 is banned" are most likely from 2016 and earlier; 1.4 content is allowed for a long time (just tag it as such)

I'm making a map and whenever I test it and try to enter a level this pops up: start level c :/users/tommy/downloads/smbx2 maglx3/data/worlds/world 1 level 1.lvlx type an exit code (signed integer)

I really don't know what an exit code is and what a signed integer is either.
